Nahkoda Masjid, India

This is one of the major tourist attractions in Kolkata which depicts Indo-Saracenic architecture. This masjid depicts similar ethnic and artistic styles of tomb of Sikandra. This masjid was constructed by Abdar Rahim Osman in 1926 who had given a unique meaning to this structure. This structure is so massively built that it can accommodate 10,000 people at a time. The advantage of visiting this masjid is during festival of Muharram where it is decorated and illuminated which grabs attention of visitors. Granite used in this structure was specially bought from Tolepar which added glitz to it.
